Nice show!
That sendmehome.com website looks really interesting...but for some reason I can't register. Is anyone else having trouble with it? Whenever I click "create an account" the screen turns dark as if a pop-up is about to appear...but it never does. And so it won't let me register. Any tips on how to avoid this?
step2626, that's a neat little way to carry a pencil! I always make sure I have at least 2 pens in my backpack, but your pencil looks really cool.
Thanks for the show S&S! _________________ Seek and you will find <>< |

*beep* Inside 500 km to destination *beep* ...loved the live demo of the BasicGPS software. The crunching of snow was a nice added effect. I think the repeated phrases of "500 km" would drive me nuts after a while though. I really appreciate him taking the time to call in his experience with it and I'm glad Triple S gave us a chance to listen to it.
That DNF story was great as well. I can't imagine whacking through a jungle just for an FTF! That's where my wife would draw the line. I'm curious as to what armadillo tastes like though. Probably tastes like chicken.
Glad to hear the WWFM V has hit the ground running with 19 events. I'm going to do my best to make sure I attend one this time.
BTW, I heard mention of the WWFM coins but what is the status of the Podcacher 2008 coins? Are they going to be on sale soon? Thanks for another great show and congrats to the Cacheamaniac coin winners. |

Howdy!
Each week as I listen to the show I like to go to the Flicker photos posted. I did the same today but I just had to post a comment.
IS SEAN THE CUTEST LITTLE TYKE OR WHAT?!!!!!!!!!!
And he has grown so much!
Sandy and Sonny, please give that little cuttie a squeeze for me!

There is an explanation of the curious "NaN" message displayed by the BasicGPS program. It is probably an bug in the program that accidently attempts to divide 0 by 0, which just doesn't work--it does not yield a number, hence the result "Not-a-Number". Check here for details. |

Step's idea is too well thought out! I prefer my method of how to log a cache without bringing the right tool along. Here is an excerpt from my log on GC1A49P:
"However, since we were out biking and not "caching", we came ill-prepared. Not one of the four had brought anything to write with. Well, I guess we'll have to return another time to sign the log, quipped Sweet.
Not to be foiled again, Dude and cuteTpie went one direction on their bikes, and left Sweet and myTcute to pick up a softball jersey for myTcute at the nearby school. Dude and cuteTpie went "cruising the gutters" at SAHS looking for something to write with. Dude managed to find a half of a pencil and sharpened it on the sidewalk. The fearsome foursome all met up again to sign the logsheet. This is one that will not soon be forgotten!"
Of course, many use blood to accomplish the same goal, but ANYONE can take a knife and cut themselves with it in order to sign a logsheet. Geocaching is for the higher lifeforms _________________ Founding member of SWAG - Santiam-Willamette Area Geocachers. |

Listened to it on Wednesday.
We've been grateful to get some rain up north as well, after a dry January.
Loved the Nicaragua story - there are some great pictures with the log entry as well. _________________
