Rolling Eyes Hi, still time for Christmas, but also to plan the WWFM V-event on the 2. May 2009.
Question Will there be a logo to use to promote this event?
And will there also be another coin minted?
What about a WW-FTFC?

I like the FTFC idea - we hosted a WWFM III event here in Cleveland and purchased a pre-sale WWFM coin and gave that away as an FTF prize that we pulled during the Flash. We had a blast and are looking forward to WWFM V!!!

How about a coin with an Earth Globe (slightly raised like a small bubble) in the four quadrant colors with the earphones and a little orange flag for each country hosting a WWFM 5? Ocean glittery and darker than the brightly colored land.

Pathtags are not trackable like geocoins and travelbugs are. They are really like a personal sig item that people trade out that you can track who has it on the pathtags.com website. So, if you order a batch of pathtags they all have the same serial or tracking number on the back, and someone who wants to log one that they have received can put the coordinates of where he found it or received it along with any notes that get back to the owner of that tag.

Sad Soon we have March, and no coin or logo produced? This WWFM should have something, or?

We've talked about the WWFM V geocoin on the last few shows. The preliminary photos were included in the show notes last time.

The sample coin photos should be coming soon, as well as the pre-sales at CoinsAndPins.com

Here are the photos:

I used this image as a background graphic for our WWFM 5 cache page, and referred to "Sonny and Sandy from the Podcacher podcast as the creators of the WWFM", and the reviewer made me take down the graphic and remove the reference to Podcacher becuase it was considered a commercial endorsment!
Anyone else having trouble like that? I complied with his request becuase I wanted to get the cache published, but I think it was a stretch of the imagination to see these references as too commercial.

Just discovered one of these coins today, in a moving cache that was brought to the vicinity of one of my puzzle caches. VERY NICE!
