It wasn't dead air, they were just being stealthy.
For those thinking of hosting a WWFM event, start planning now! Start jotting down ideas no matter how silly or undoable they may seem. The silly ones are fun, and the undoable can be change into doable, or if not may trigger another idea. If you don't write them down (and keep them in place you won't lose them), you find WWFM creeping up on you like a top fuel dragster and you won't have any ideas ready to go.
The Foods story - It was weird but I guess not expected to see news of the car wreck/shooting on the 3 major news channels here and getting 3 different accounts of what happened that didn't quite match The Foods version. One guy said the car rolled over 6 times. From where it was on the embankment and the condition it was in I'd have to say "I don't think so." Happy to say all turned out well with The Foods. |

Regarding the cache density competition, it was an interesting point about people who live near the coast / large lakes. I live about 6 miles from the North Sea so my cache density of 4672 would be considerably higher if i lived furhther inland. There are some oil rigs out there in the sea, so i guess if there was any caches on them they would be a 5/5 D/T. _________________

And be sure to head over to the WWFM Fourms to share your ideas/brainstorming. There are a lot of great caching thinkers that read/participate in the fourms... |

|
|
I did a visual inspection to find the two obviously largest geocaching holes in the continental US, and found both to be in Montana. Neither one of these pass the 50 mile radius. That is you can't pick as spot in the middle of them and still be 50 mile or more away from the nearest cache.
There are still some countries that do not have any (this number continues to shrink.) North Korea is one, most of the others are in Africa. Benevolent dictators for some reason just don't get into geocaching. _________________ I'd rather be caching! |
