I do like the idea about TB Hotels being PMO even though that would slow TB travels down if the hotels were PMO... |

Nearly every new cache around here is PMO, but the old ones are still
available to all.
I do enjoy reading the audit log.
I publish all my traditional caches as PMO to keep them safe from Geotrashers etc, but leave my multi's and puzzles for all, as non-cachers wouldn't bother to work out the coordinates. I just find it easier having PMO caches, but, again maybe 19 out of my 60 traditional hides are available to all - these tend to be my first, or ones in a not so interesting location. Like said on the show, if they are truly committed to caching, then they will buy a PM, and have many more caches as a reward. I became a Premium member when I found my 100th cache, and every PMO cache I found felt very special - but yes, they do tend to be TB hotels (my first PMO cache was!) _________________

Just as with some LPCs, there are actually some very clever Guard Rail Caches out there. Not going to give away the hides, but check out Momentforus in Huntsville, AL (GCW93V - Thornton Research Park), RonFisk's (GC17PZQ or GC17NKQ Screwy Louie II), Team Geo-Clarks (GC2G8TP) in Menifee, CA, and Not as Vile... GC316QR by GSMX2 near Ojai, CA! Created a bookmark to share with the community and will continue to add to it!
Never assume and jump to conclusions about a hide location!
Cache on!!! |

Just catching up on the podcast.
Regarding Tybee Island, Georgia and I-80:
I-80 does not go through Georgia. It goes from San Francisco, through Reno, Salt Lake, Cheyenne, Des Moines, Chicago, Toledo, central Pennsylvania, and ends in Teaneck, NJ, just outside NYC.
To me, this makes the Tybee sign even funnier since its nowhere near the interstate.
Historical note: I-84 from Salt Lake through Boise to Portland used to be called I-80North while I-80South was the main route from Salt Lake to San Francisco. _________________ Geocaching from Iraq to Iowa. |
