WWFM V - Charlotte NC "Tees Up"

Our event corresponds with the PGA event in Charlotte that weekend. Should be a real hoot confusing all of the golf muggles!

Wish we could do one this year - but we must be at a convention that weekend. Lucky us, however, there's one about 2 miles from our convention that we'll sneak out to attend!

WWFMV - Daegu is PUBLISHED!

Check back later for http://coord.info/gc1pn00 soon for the only WWFM to take place in Korea as of right now.

Ours will take place at 10 AM local time due to the fact that many of the cachers that may attend will likely have to travel from out of town. There are over 2.5 million people in Daegu, South Korea but only like 6 of us are geocachers. The rest come from out of town. Maybe the WWFM cache-a-vanilism is just what we need to get more folks into things!

ADD -- I just found out that I have been selected to be a trainer and will most likely be away for the event...i'm going to try and catch the bullet train though to get home in time. this will make the second WWFM that I will be "hosting" and then maybe miss thanks to my Army duties. Not a good trend if you ask me.

There will be probably a couple of more events. Lopesco, organizer of GC1Q1DN, and one event in WWFM IV, once again is playing in important role in Portugal by telling everyone how fun these events are. Smile

Finally got organized enough to submit our event for publication...WWFM V - C of Red. I think that makes 2 events in Alberta, Canada.

Here's a picture of the pathtag we've made to hand out to event attendees

We started with the "earth" background for our signature tag, marked our event location with a yellow star and then used Podcacher colours to try to capture the worldwide nature of the event and the "groovy" theme that runs through so many of the shows.
