We would like to report for our close friends that hosted the WWFM VI event that the official count for the Child's Play Flash Mob (GC2082F) was 73 (plus 2 if you include security officers). and here is the group photo
and a short video of the gang playing Ring Around the Rosie is here at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQNIlayfQ5Y. Hope everyone had a good and successful Flash - we had a blast and many thanks go out to Chaseur, Bartholic, S&BGeo, and TeamGuisinger for hosting a great Flash Mob. |

Hello Everybody!
WWFM VI Zurich Switzerland
We are reporting from WWFM VI in Zurich, Switzerland
As every year, we met in the middle of Zurichs old town.
Unfortunately, we haven't been lucky with the weather! It was raining as bad as it could...
But rain doesn't stop us from going out and meet with other Geocachers.
This year, our mission was to lighten up the city.
Exactly at 7 pm, nearly 300 people walked to the spot
with sparklers and self made laterns!
In Switzerland, it is a long autumn tradition, to make laterns out of special beets. A bit like pumpkins, but purple and smaller!
You will see them in the pictures!
We had our famous big red log box where every team placed their log sheet!
The people around were very surpriced, they didn't know, what was going on!
And after 15 Minutes, it was all over again! We have a few nice pictures! You will find the links in our GC-Listing!
Soon, there will also be a video!
Here our official numbers:
Location: Zurich
Time: 7 pm
Attending Teams: 166
Total attending people: 281
This year, we didn't have a After-Event! We made a Pre-Event in the near forest, where we had a BBQ with nice pumpkin soup and
hot drinks. The weather was nice the whole afternoon, so it was a very nice get together before the big WWFM!
We had lots of fun!
Greetings from the Swiss Organisation Teams
