Looking forward to the show = the murder mystery looks great.
Reminds me of a cache that has been in Johannesburg for a number of years - Staddards demise (GCNN9C) - http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=86a0c0b8-5fde-498e-89b6-4ff1a5bd816e
A great multimedia murder mystery cache. Really ahead of it's time and still very unique in South Africa. Check it out (I still don't have a find here - was very close to solving before we moved). |

Ah I heard Daisy Bones in the podcast. A belated happy birthday!
Don't feel bad about another birthday, I am 43 and still having fun and laughing and being immature. Enjoy the things you enjoy and the things, people and pets you love. _________________ Woof Woof! |

I always save the show for the drive to work on Monday mornings (and I finish it at work or on lunch break). It was nice to hear about Mark Gessner's book. Can't wait to hear part 2 of the interview next week. BTW...you can get his book in Kindle format, too. I did that so I could carry it with me anywhere.
I'll have to check out the Lookout Security app for my Droid. Good idea.
A peanut shell? I would have never guessed that! _________________ If you hide it, they will come!

Hunters and Geocachers - Yes, we can all get along
I have a dog in both of these hunts. If I'm out hunting I don't want someone coming near me without my knowing they are there. One reason is I don't want you scaring off what I've been waiting for for months. Remember we only hunt (in most cases) a few months of the year. I also don't want you coming around when I'm shooting because I don't want you to walk into my line of fire or get hit by a ricochet.
As a geocacher I can keep the peace and the safety if I avoid the areas the hunters will be in the short time period they have. Geocachers can do their thing just about anywhere. Hunters are limited.
In Texas, this isn't that big of a deal because you either hunt on private land or in state parks. And when the state parks have their hunting events, they're closed to all but the hunters. |

Sonny, sorry to say you're a bit late suggesting knitters to capitalize on the tech-friendly mitts - a quick glance over on Ravelry, the big online knitting community, shows many, many patterns for fingerless mittens/gloves and 'flip-top' patterns. Bet you could make some since I've heard knitting needles are 'tools'! |
