Well thanks for the company on the drive. Now this thing on challenges, since they now count seperate, ill not really bother about them, i think Groundspeak are trying to keep the people happy but i feel they have not done it well, this challenge thing they have come up with is silly, thats my two pennys worth _________________

So full of geocaching goodness that I couldn't download over 3G from the train and had to wait until the station and free wifi kicked in _________________ Podcacher Supporting Member |

I don't mess with checking the logs. If someone wants to log a cache thatthey didn't actually find then it doesn't hurt me any. It's the logger who misses out on the experience. Now if someone accidently double logs something I'll delete a log. And I did have a friend go change a log on a cache (not sure if it was mine or not - probably not now that I think of it) because it wasn't worth a hoot - the CO deserved more. |

Hocktoberfest sounds like a great event. You could have a meet and greet where ham hocks are the "secret ingredient" to all or at least most of the dishes (is there a vegetarian ham hock?)
Wet logs - I dry them out when I can, and when I can't do that I add to the logs if there is room. Sometimes I replace (depends on where I'm at). And some times I just have to deal with a wet log because I can replace it.
Cache that won't open - We came across a bison tube that we could not get open even using pliers. Logged a find and posted a needs maintenance. |
