In the e-mail section of this show one listener asked about event caches, or geocaching events, being held on 11/11/11. There currently are two such events scheduled in the greater San Francisco bay area in California, United States.
GC3538W in Alameda California, United States
"Lets get together to celebrate eleven years of geocaching on 11-11-11 at 11:11am for 11 minutes."
GC34KNX in Campbell California, United States
This event starts at 7:11 pm and is scheduled to end at 11:11 pm, but the owner indicated that this event will be being held in a restaurant that closes at 11:00 pm.
Since there was a souvenir for finding a cache on 10/10/10, I wonder if there will be one for 11/11/11 as well.
