Do you have any caches in your area that are theme or seasonal related (like Christmas)?

First to post because he downloaded last night but was too tired to post after getting home from a weekend of kayak geocaching with the alligators.

No new Christmas caches in my area, but there is our annual Christmas event.

We have a Christmas themed cache in Beavercreek, OH. It's fittingly named Knotty and Nice. The container is a matchstick container desguised to resemble a knot on a tree.

In December 2010, s32144 created a series of caches in the Dayton/Beavercreek area entitled "The 12 Days of Christmas." During the Christmas season, one cache in the series was published each day.

Here's the link to the final cache in the series:

From the first time I heard team Podcacher sing the 12 days of "cache-mas", it reminded me so much of this old Bob and Doug McKenzie (Dave Thomas and Rick Moranis) bit that they did back in the 80's when they were still on SCTV. Laughing

Speaking of GeoART here is a bookmark list from a friend and fellow cacher of all the GeoArt. There are two bookmarks.

I think next years "12 Days of Cache-mas" song should be a compilation of singers that call into the hotline. Laughing If Sonny would publish the music he wants everyone to sing, the callers could listen with ear buds and sing into the receiver to keep the beat. Should be entertaining!
