Sleep is way overrated. 4-5 hours and I'm usually good to go.
It also helps being just one hour off of the same time zone as Triple S.
Tonight I just got lucky checking the forums 2 minutes after Sandy posted, and before the show was actually up. _________________ If you ain't first, you're last!!

Listening to the end of the show right now.
The Champagne cache I found was GC2ERDP, Champagne Challenge (Texas Edition). It was copied and slightly changed from the original GC19CZK, Champagne.
Sandy - Dragging your kid through the mud like that. Sean will never hear the end of it from his friends. "Sean, your Mom is cool!" What's next? Climbing in trees? Playing in water? Will it ever end? Hope not! |

I haven't heard you mention another possible condition that would prevent signing a log. This condition happens fairly frequently here in the Pacific Northwest. There have been numerous times when the cache log sheet has turned into an amorphous blob of pulp and it is impossible to write on it. Usually in such cases, I will attempt to insert some more paper in the cache that is dry and can be signed, but sometimes that just isn't possible. I usually go ahead and log a find on the cache in such cases, even though I haven't left anything that proves my find. I've never had a cache owner complain about claiming a find under these circumstances (probably due to their guilt-pangs from not maintaining their caches well enough). |

Has no one mentioned taking a picture of the un-openable cache and sending to the owner for proof? Include yourself and your GPSr. _________________

Rather than making a few messages on different topics this show, I am going to put them all in this one email.
Very cool to carry his iPad with him albeit a bit risky for the price of an iPad. I ride with much more expensive technology while I pedal my bike. - Sonny you should enjoy this being another ham - I am pedaling my recumbent tricycle while making contacts across North America during the North American QSO Party - lots of great map graphics

About opening a cache but not signing it -
We opened one recently but could not sign the log as it was too damp (container was one of the disposable lunch tubs)- we did use some napkins to try and dry things off but sometimes that isn't enough. So we took a pic of the log and cache with our GPS and a paper note of ours and mentioned it in the online cache log as well as marking it that it needs maintenance. We found another wet cache that day and it had mold on the log and container. This log we signed but just barely. We also marked that this needs maintenance. We sent the cache owner a message and let him know we could send a picture of the moldy cache.
How do i listen to podcacher?
75% listening to it on my laptop, playing from iTunes player
25% while out riding my cumbent trike
Great work webmaster Sandy! I enjoy the Podcacher website. Since Sonny said you put up everything that is mentioned, I am mentioning a cow on top of a blimp. It shouldn't be hard to Photoshop ;-) "moo" _________________ Woof Woof! |

I don't usually say OMG but I am amazed. Here I was just being silly and there is actually a company logo that has a COW on a BLIMP!!! HA HA I love it! I looked up the Eat Mor Chikin online to learn about it. The propaganda arm of the Cows Liberation Front. Amazing!
Thanks for putting up a cow on a blimp and glad you didn't have to spend time Photoshopping it. You ROCK Sonny! [/u] _________________ Woof Woof! |

I bet Sean wants one of these! If you deflate one, it would fit in a geocache that he could find. Wink wink  nudge nudge   _________________ Woof Woof! |
