Just remembered to look. Within 50 miles of my house there are 3,831 caches. |

8,389 caches within 50 miles of my house (northern suburbs of Salt Lake City.) Zooming out the geocaching.com map over the U.S. shows 2 large holes, the Navajo reservation in Arizona and central Montana. Jordan, MT wins (loses?) with only 9 caches within a 50 mile radius.
Regarding "pre-finding" caches: I just recently did this unintentionally. There's a bison tube hanging on a fence here. To someone who knows to look, it is quite visible as you drive past. The problem is it adjacent to a busy convenience store and probably only findable in the late night or early morning. |

Does anyone know what Txoilgas died from while caching in Oklahoma?
As some other cacher wrote about all of his caches being disabled, I too hope someone adopts them. _________________ Woof Woof! |

For the timebeing, the Texas Geocaching Association will be adopting them. We'll figure out how we're going to redistirbute them after we get this little Mega event we have coming up quick in the rear view mirror.
As for how he died, I don't know. I read that he pulled over to the side of the road not feeling well. The only things I can think of are heart attack, stroke, and aneurysm, but I am no doctor so this is pure speculation. |
