That was VERY odd?! Double checked my work in the sound editor and nothing unusual is there. Weird. _________________ Have you found it yet? |

A few electrons must have been severely inconvenienced on their way to the server farm because it happened to me as well. |

Great to hear how the paint ball players immediately stopped when the geocachers wandered into their "kill box."
When doing that activity, everybody must wear eye safety wear and NEVER remove it on the field of play until called to a stop by the officials. These geocachers could have been hurt badly if one took a shot in the eye.
Great picture and story to share.
Makes sense that a rural location is equally attractive to both hobby enthusiasts. Find the same to be true with homeless shelters being set up near cache hides around city areas.
Cache on! |

|

When I heard about the epic caching day on Show 367, I thought that something similar would be possible if you were travelling from Australia to the US, thanks to the International Date Line. I wasn't surprised to hear that a fellow Australian had indeed done this and set the record in the process.
Sonny's question about whether you could use the International Date Line to "travel back in time" got me thinking. It would be theoretically possible to do this (ignoring practical issues such as needing to check-in for flights several hours prior to departure, and the Customs delays upon arrival).
For example, I can catch a flight from here in Sydney, Australia at 1:05pm which arrives in LA at 9:45am the same day. If I found and logged a cache just before I left Sydney, and then one as soon as I arrived in LA, it would appear that I found the LA cache first (although I'm not sure if my stats page would show that - hopefully one day I'll be able to find out ). |

Hey cool! Let us know if you (or anyone) actually tries this and is able to get 'er done!
