We didn't even make a dent in the trash. There is another CITO scheduled for December. |

Last Saturday, I dnf'd a cache that had an adder sunning itself at gz. Today i found 6 caches near the Tees Barrage (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tees_Barrage) but the highlight was watching 3 seals catching and eating salmon near the 'salmon run' downstream of the barrage itself.
Thats one of the reasons i love caching - you never know what you might see, even at places you have been to lots of times before, that and discovering new places even in areas you thought you knew well.
I have seen seals before but much closer to the mouth of the river so seeing them so far upriver was a pleasant surprise. I guess they have learnt that there will be a large number of salmon congregating in that part of the river to get up the salmon run. _________________

I love that you make up stories for Sean. I would do this with my own boys, our stories revolved around a super hero named Mr. Green that wanted the world to be colorful, and a super villian named Mr. Gray who wanted the world to be dingy and colorless. Each had multiple sidekicks. My boys remind me of those stories every once in a while, they are now in their teens. |
