42 is the Ultimate answer to the question of life, universe, and everything - Hitch Hiker's guide to the galaxy. (Great for use in Mystery Caches as well.)
451 - 451F - The autoignition point of paper from the book - Fahrenheit 451
I couldn't quite remember 1138 but the others I recall. Maybe I blacked out the THX1138 because it was one of the worst movies I had ever seen in my life. IIRC it had Robert Duval in it.
1984 - Got to remember the Apple commercial based on this too - Funny how they poked fun of the IBM PC everybody is the same in that commercial and then try to be come the everybody's the same in the iOS realm. ** Ducks as the iPosters through sharp words my direction **
5150 Was also the first CD I ever purchased - Had the tape for a couple years before that. _________________ I'd rather be caching! |

Hmmm.... I had alternative answers to 1999, 2112 and 5150... but I had an answer to all of them!
1999 - The Prince song
2112 - Mars2112 the former Martian "Theme" restaurant in Times Square (think Rainforest Cafe but with space ships and aliens)
5150 - means an "involuntary psychiatric hold" in police lingo. (Which is, I'm sure, what Van Halen was referencing.) _________________ My Blog!

12-12-12: 12 Mins in the Destille Similar theme (12 min, 12 sec meet and greet), but mine is at 12 in the afternoon in Kabul, Afghanistan. I already have 1 Will Attend (in addition to me)... It will be the safest way to find a cache in Afghanistan.

For Star Trek related caches - The Gorn's Lair near LA http://coord.info/GCRVC4 is actually near where that episode was filmed! |
