Listened on the bus.

The cemetery advice applies probably in most states. It also applies in a lot of parks. It's a good idea to put the curfew hours on the cache page, though a lot of people won't read them until they're in the place and can't find the cache.

Looking forward to seeing Sean's meter burst really quick.

Almost forgot: Link to event in San Antonio, Texas

I am the owner of the (now archived) cache mentioned by marksar. The note is real, and the deputy's name really is "Toombs". I too saw the humor in the name, but under the circumstances chose not to make any comments when I posted the note. Very Happy

Real life and caching. In our area a cacher just lost his wife to cancer. She was caching before him and they always caches together. They where married for a long time. He is out in the desert right now and letting everyone know he is alright but needs time. I had a tear in my eye when he posted on facebook. That they always cache together so he would sign both of their names, now it feels so wrong to sign just my name solo.

btuna: I just couldn't help myself while recording the show when I realized the name of the Deputy. I'll bet he gets that all the time.

pacholik: Thanks for sharing that. Very sad indeed.

We're currently up to $435 out of $515 thanks to many generous pledges for the iPad for Learning project. Thank you!

Guess it would help if I say that last ad was for Long John Silver's.

Are you going to make me walk the plank?

Hey Sonny,
Did you make the pledge thermometer yet?
If so, can you provide a link?

Had a lot of fun yesterday texting like a pirate... Laughing

I could not think fast enough to converse in pirate-ese, but did a lot better when I could think about what I wanted to say, think about converting it into pirate talk and then text it to my wife...
